About the Founder of Healthcore:
Wendy Farnen Price PT, MS, CLT, PMA-CPT, STAR Certified Clinician has been practicing physical therapy since 1994 and has extensive experience in orthopedics, oncology, women’s health and sports performance. Previously she had worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital. She was also a faculty member for Northeastern University’s Physical Therapy program.
Wendy is a certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) receiving her complete decongestive therapy training from the Norton School at Memorial Sloane Kettering. She is also a certified Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist and PMA certified Pilates Instructor. She is a training specialist and consultant for the STAR (Survivorship, Training, and Rehab) Program developed by Oncology Rehab Partners. She also has additional training and certification specifically for breast cancer recovery, Mind Body Stress Reduction (MBSR), and sports performance.
Wendy is recognized as an expert in her field. She has conducted research and presented at national conferences. She has also been featured in a national podcast, magazines, newspapers, and on television news programs. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Connecticut Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) and was recently elected to the APTA Board of Directors, Oncology Section.
Wendy is married with two children. Her husband is a cardiologist in New Haven. When not working, Wendy’s hobbies include USTA tennis, golf, running, and skiing.
